Streszczenie
Celem pracy było przedstawienie procesu terapeutycznego pacjentki po pierwotnym leczeniu ortodontycznym z powikłaniem w postaci ograniczonego otwierania ust. Przemyślane zastosowanie deprogramatora, szyny zgryzowej oraz ponownego leczenia aparatami stałymi w relacji centralnej pozwoliło odtworzyć prawidłową funkcję narządu żucia.
Leczenie ortodontyczne należy przeprowadzić, prawidłowo diagnozując zwarcie centryczne i unikając przeciążenia mięśni i stawów we wszystkich jego etapach, jak również podczas retencji.
Abstract
The aim of the study was to present the therapeutic process of the patient after primary orthodontic treatment with a complication of limited mouth opening. The thoughtful application of the deprogrammer, bite splint and re-treatment with braces in the central relation resulted in the proper functioning of the masticatory organ.
Orthodontic treatment should be carried out with a correct diagnosis of centric relation, avoiding the overload of the muscles and joints through all its stages, as well as during the retention.
