W pracy przedstawiono cztery przypadki wewnątrzkostnej zmiany olbrzymiokomórkowej; w dwóch przypadkach była  to postać agresywna, a w dwóch postać łagodna. Pokazano, jak ważne jest rozpoznanie i indywidualne podejście do pacjenta oraz zaplanowanie zakresu leczenia w zależności od charakteru guza. Zastosowane leczenie chirurgiczne: całkowite wycięcie zmienionych patologicznie tkanek wraz z wyłyżeczkowaniem zniszczonej kości (postać łagodna central granuloma cell lesion,  CGCL), jak też resekcja guza wraz z odpowiednim marginesem tkanek (postać agresywna CGCL) przyniosło zadowalające efekty. Zwrócono również uwagę na istotność odtworzenia struktur anatomicznych dzięki zastosowaniu przeszczepu z kości biodrowej, a następnie wprowadzeniu wszczepów zębowych.

The study describes four cases of central granuloma cell lesions – CGCL; in two of the cases this was the aggressive form and in two the nonagressive  form. It was shown how important the diagnosis and  individual approach to the patient is, together with the extent of treatment planned in dependence on the character of the neoplasm. Surgical treatment was used: complete excision of the pathologically changed tissues together with curettage of the damaged bone (nonaggressive form of CGCL) and en block resection  of the tumour together with the appropriate margin of tissue (aggressive form of CGCL) brought satisfactory results. Attention was also drawn to the appropriateness of reconstructing anatomical structures thanks to the use of iliac crest graft and subsequently introducing the dental implants.
