We współczesnej dobie zmieniły się oczekiwania estetyczne pacjentów. Coraz częściej zgłaszają się do stomatologa w celu poprawy uśmiechu albo uzupełnienia brakujących zębów. Zamiast szlifować zdrowe tkanki zębowe, wybierają metody atraumatyczne, polegające na wprowadzeniu wszczepów. Nie są zainteresowani konstrukcjami  ruchomymi ze względu na dyskomfort związany z ich użytkowaniem.

W pracy przedstawiono wybrane przypadki kliniczne kompleksowego postępowania implantologiczno-protetyczno-estetycznego, zmierzającego do uzupełnienia brakujących zębów, odbudowy zniszczonych tkanek twardych przy ich większych i mniejszych defektach.

 

The modern era has changed the expectations of patients as regards aesthetics. Increasingly they visit the dentist with the aim of improving their smile or replacing missing teeth. Instead of grinding healthy tooth tissue they choose atraumatic methods that are based on the insertion of implants. They are not interested in removable constructions because of the discomfort associated with their use. The study describes selected clinical cases of complex procedures involving implants, prosthetics and aesthetics, aiming at the replacement of missing teeth, the reconstruction of hard dental tissues with their greater and lesser defects.
