Streszczenie
Dzieci z dentofobią, czyli paraliżującym strachem przed leczeniem stomatologicznym, oraz z chorobami ogólnoustrojowymi to liczna grupa pacjentów. U tych osób zastosowanie znieczulenia miejscowego bywa niewystarczające. W wielu przypadkach konieczne jest leczenie zębów w znieczuleniu ogólnym. Należy pamiętać, że przed każdym zabiegiem trzeba określić wskazania do jego przeprowadzenia i rozważyć alternatywne metody leczenia.
Abstract
Children suffering from dentophobia – paralyzing fear of dental treatment and with systemic diseases are a large group of patients. In these people the use of local anesthesia is insufficient. In many cases it is necessary to treat teeth under general anesthesia. It should be remembered that before each treatment, indications for its implementation should be specified and alternative methods of treatment should be considered.
