Use of Mineral Trioxide Aggregate in treatment of traumatic pulp exposure in permanent tooth – case description
Praca stanowi opis przypadku leczenia pacjenta z obnażeniem miazgi w wyniku urazowego uszkodzenia korony zęba 11. Po analizie czasu, który upłynął od doznania urazu, stanu tkanek zęba, wielkości obnażenia miazgi, stanu higieny jamy ustnej oraz wieku pacjenta, powzięto decyzję o pokryciu bezpośrednim miazgi z zastosowaniem Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA).
W pracy przedstawiono zastosowaną metodę leczenia oraz uzyskane efekty.
The study is a description of a case of treatment of a patient with pulp exposure resulting from traumatic damage of crown of tooth 11. After determination of the time that had elapsed from the traumatic incident, the state of the dental tissues, the size of the pulpal exposure, the state of the oral hygiene and the age of the patient, the decision was made to directly cover the pulp using Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA). The study described the treatment method used and the results obtained.
