W pracy opisano przypadek pacjentki, która zgłosiła się na konsultację z powodu problemów protetycznych. Podczas pierwszej wizyty okazało się, że wybór planu leczenia musi uwzględniać jej lęk przed leczeniem chirurgicznym, brak wcześniejszego doświadczenia z użytkowaniem protez, a także koszty leczenia. Miało się ono skoncentrować na odtworzeniu utraconej wysokości zwarcia centralnego i odbudowie uzębienia z użyciem licówek porcelanowych, koron porcelanowych, mostu porcelanowego oraz protezy szkieletowej na zasuwach. Zastosowanie takiego zaawansowanego planu leczenia przyniosło zamierzony efekt terapeutyczny i estetyczny.

The study describes the case of a female patient who presented for a consultation regarding prosthetic problems. During the first visit it turned out that the choice of treatment plan must take into account her fear of surgery, her lack of previous experience in using prostheses and also the cost of treatment. It was to concentrate on restoration of the lost vertical dimension of the centric occlusion and on the rebuilding of teeth using porcelain facings, porcelain crowns, porcelain bridge and skeleton denture with precision attachments.The use of such an advanced treatment plan brought the desired therapeutic and aesthetic effects.
