Streszczenie
Celem pracy jest przedstawienie, na podstawie zebranego piśmiennictwa, możliwości zastosowania mikroimplantów ortodontycznych jako alternatywy dla wyciągu zewnątrzustnego typu headgear – tradycyjnego zewnątrzustnego aparatu kotwiącego.

Summary
The aim of the study is to present, on the basis of the literature, the possibilities of using orthodontic microimplants as an alternative to extraoral traction type headgear – the traditional extraoral anchoring appliance.
