Examples of the use of ceramic veneers in aesthetic dental treatment

Streszczenie
W pracy opisano trzy przypadki pacjentów, u których wykonano licówki na zęby przednie, z zastosowaniem różnych metod technicznych. W jednym przypadku licówki wykonano metodą prasowania – VITA Press Ceramic (VITA, Niemcy), u dwóch pacjentów metodą IPS e.max^® Press (Ivoclar-Vivadent AG, Liechtenstein). Wskazania do założenia licówek obejmowały zmianę kształtu zębów z powodu wady rozwojowej (zęby soplowate), zmianę kształtu w celu zamknięcia naturalnej diastemy i zamaskowania przebarwień spowodowanych wadą rozwojową szkliwa oraz zmianę kształtu zębów ze względów estetycznych. Omówiono etapy kliniczne związane z wykonaniem licówek i metody ich przygotowania w laboratorium protetycznym.
 
Abstract
The study describes three clinical cases of patients who were performed veneers on front teeth. Different technical methods were used to make prosthetic restorations. In one case veneers were made by press ceramic – Vita Press Ceramic (VITA, Germany) and for two patients by IPS e.max^® Press (Ivoclar-Vivadent AG, Liechtenstein) were cemented. Indications for using veneers have included changing the shape of the teeth due to a developmental defect (conical teeth), changing of the shape to close natural diastema and mask discolorations caused by enamel developmental defect and changing shape of the teeth. Both clinical stages and technical methods of making veneers were described.
