Streszczenie
W artykule opisano diagnostykę i leczenie obturacyjnego bezdechu sennego (OBS), z uwzględnieniem roli, jaką personel medyczny gabinetu stomatologicznego odgrywa w tym zakresie. Autorzy skupili się szczególnie na jednej z metod leczenia chrapania i bezdechu, możliwej do zastosowania przez lekarza dentystę – jest nią wykonanie aparatu stomatologicznego. W pracy opisano przypadek pacjenta, u którego zastosowano aparat TAP-T.
Abstract
The article describes the diagnostics and treatment of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), taking into account the significance of the dental office staff in this area. The authors are focused particularly on one of the methods of treating the snoring and apnea, which can be used by a dentist - the implementation of an oral appliance. The article describes the case of a patient with TAP-T appliance.
