Związek konsumpcji wina z erozją zębów – przegląd piśmiennictwa
Relationship between wine consumption and dental erosion – a literature review
Monika Nowak, Jakub Zdrojewski, Kacper Nijakowski
Streszczenie
Erozja to przewlekła, patologiczna i nieodwracalna utrata tkanek twardych zęba spowodowana działaniem kwasów, bez udziału bakterii.
Abstract
Dental erosion is the chronic, irreversible pathological loss of hard tissues which are chemically dissolved by acids, without bacteria. External acids come mainly from food – the most common products with low pH are fruit juices, isotonic drinks, energy drinks and wine. The review aimed to systematize knowledge about the influence of drinking wine on the risk of erosive lesions.
