Streszczenie
W ostatnim czasie obserwujemy coraz większą liczbę pacjentów zgłaszających się do gabinetów stomatologicznych z chęcią uzyskania przez nich nieskazitelnego i zdrowego uśmiechu. Często wiąże się to z koniecznością usunięcia dotychczas użytkowanych przez pacjenta uzupełnień protetycznych i zastąpienia ich nowymi, estetycznymi, a zarazem funkcjonalnymi uzupełnieniami. W pracy przedstawiono przypadek leczenia protetycznego 72-letniej pacjentki, u której zastosowano zarówno stałe, jak i ruchome uzupełnienia protetyczne: protezę szkieletową z mocowaniem wykorzystującym precyzyjne elementy retencyjne oraz tradycyjną protezę szkieletową klamrową.
Abstract
Recently, we have seen an increasing number of patients coming to dental offices with the desire to obtain a flawless, healthy smile. This often involves the need to remove the prosthetic restorations previously used by the patient and replace them with new aesthetic and functional restorations. The article presents a case of prosthetic treatment of a 72-year-old patient, in whom both fixed and removable prosthetic restorations were used, namely a partial denture with fixation using precise retention elements and a traditional clasp partial denture.
