For preparing of the efficient dental treatment plan, careful diagnostic is needed. It decreases risk of failure during whole therapy. Full evaluation of teeth and surrounding tissues condition is possible only after removing of tartar and debris from teeth surface. Professional mechanical tooth cleaning is not only improving health of hard tissues and periodontal tissues, it makes evaluation of old treatments, treatment needs and treatment possibilities much easier to perform. Scaling and tooth polishing with prophy paste are basic procedures, which should be performed before diagnostic and treatment planning.
