Streszczenie
Półpasiec jest chorobą zakaźną będącą reaktywacją wirusa Herpes Varicella zoster (HSV3, VZV) w zwojach czuciowych. Występuje zazwyczaj u osób starszych oraz u pacjentów z niedoborami immunologicznymi. Objawia się jednostronnymi, nasilonymi dolegliwościami bólowymi oraz pęcherzykami w obrębie jednego dermatomu. Artykuł jest opisem przypadku 75‑letniej pacjentki z półpaścem obejmującym wszystkie gałęzie nerwu trójdzielnego: oczną, szczękową oraz żuchwową.

Abstract
Zoster (shingles) is an infectious disease caused by reactivation of Herpes Varicella zoster virus (HSV3, VZV) in sensory ganglia. It is prevalent in elderly and immunocompromised patients. The symptoms are unilateral, severe pain and vesicles within a single dermatome. The study is a case report of 75‑year‑old patient with zoster in all branches of trigeminal nerve: ocular, maxillary and mandibular.
